Makeathon and Hackathon
Hackathon@Nazareth is an annual event which is intended for software developers, graphic designers, project managers and entrepreneurs who are seeking an opportunity to promote their ideas and enhance their acquaintances. Participants who either have a wide experience in their field or are fresh beginners - all are welcome. If you define yourself as any of the above, a quick registration will get you in.
This year we also add makeathon teams - for software and hardware developers, designers and creative people to make a physical product from scratch using Intel Galileo technology
What is a makeathon?
A makeathon, similar to a hackathon, is a weekend long event for building, creating, and designing products.
The Makeathon focuses on both hardware and software technologies. Hacking, making, and building is encouraged!
How do I make things in the makeathon?
If you have an idea for building a product let us know in the Registration Form.
We will consult with expert makers to allow you and your team to get ready to the makeathon with all the knowledge equipment you'll need.
When?
Friday, October 24th at 9:00 AM until Saturday, October 25th 9:00 PM.
Where?
St. Gabriel Hotel, Salezian, Nazereth.
See map for exact location.

Can I develop app or a software as in previous hackathons?
Of course you can! The event is still a hackathon so apps and software teams are welcomed as before. The makeathon option is a new and exciting addition for this year's even't.
Who Should Participate?
We are looking for a variety of talents and backgrounds, aiming to build teams that include different skill sets, therefore software developers, hardware developers, engineers, designers, creative people, project managers and entrepreneurs are welcome.
Why Should I Participate?
If your passion is innovation, and you strive to work with new and exciting products - then you've come to the right place. In this event you will have the opportunity to put your ideas into action and see them transform into a real product. You'll have the opportunity to consult others on different aspects and gain knowledge. In addition, you will improve your teamwork skills and expand your circle of connections
